The simulation can start from the current weighted average cost or lot cost, while also allowing manual overrides for what-if analysis.
Each simulation can be saved as a historical estimate, allowing teams to compare assumptions over time and support budgeting, forecasting and standard cost reviews. Keeping a history of estimates also provides better visibility into seasonal cost changes and operational trends.
The tool includes palletization as part of the calculation, helping teams estimate packed unit cost, full pallet cost and pallet cost allocation across finished products.
